huperLab 3D Area Counter
The huperLab 3D Area Counter combines huperEyes, a state-of-the-art stereo 3D camera and an exclusive 3D area counting algorithm to capture three-dimensional images, and count people with much greater precision. huperLab 3D Area Counter counts how many people step into a specified area. The counted number updates on the camera preview promptly. Optionally, it can alarm when there is a situation of overcrowding, secure zone intrusion, or violating social distancing.

- 3D Area Counter counts the number of people who step into the detection zone. Enable the Overcrowding detection to check whether there is a situation of too many people gathering around in the detection zone. When the number of people in the zone matches the maximum, it triggers an alarm and the white detection zone frame turns in red. If the maximum occupants is set to 1, it behaves as secure zone detection – the system triggers an alarm if anyone steps into the detection zone.
- 3D Area Counter can detect the distances among people in the detection zone when the Social Distancing detection is enabled. If the distance between two people is below the minimum, their green bounding blocks and the white detection zone will all turn in red, and trigger an alarm. The alarm will stop once everyone in the detection zone maintains appropriate social distancing.
